Hi there guys

Im making a physics based game. Litrallt woke up this morning and have been working on this brief prototype. I think the name of this prototype says it all. Im using 3d rad again. :P

All comments welcome.

  • I love the combination of the game's name/ character/ concept! Seems like a very fun, playful idea! Excited to see where this goes!

  • Hi . I'm trying to get a simple yet appealing look. So far this is what ive tried, but it was just a test of sorts. All the objects are native to the 3d rad engine, with only the player character being a simple model I did quickly in blender.

Well now you know where im sort of going with this project. Gonna use my own 3d for all of the models going forward.

The character or main intelegent beings are going to be rocks.

Im going to keep it simple though, following the advice from my partner. I wanted to make an epic tale of bla bla bla. But no it's just gonna be more centered on gamplay.

    Feedback welcome. Thanks.

  • Hi there!

Ive started adding my own models and trying to get a nice feel. Im going for cartoony. I'm trying to work with 3d rads realtime shadows this time.

This little video is running on an intel hd 2500 onboard gfx , running at 720 p . Captured with afterburner.

My gt 620 nvidia bombed. :/
  • Hello......

I've started doing a prototype in Unity 2017 , for Rock Climber.

It took me weeks, to get the basic concept of the game working. But I'm glad it's working now.......so many tutorials........

For your comments and consideration, link above is the small demo of Rock Climber.

    Controls

Mouse movement direction - controls where you move and how you turn your body and arms.

"Z" - switch to controlling left arm
"X" - switch to controlling body.
"C" - switch to controlling right arm
"V" - detach the current controlled arm.

You can only move one portion of the character around , at a time. You can't move arms and body at the same time.

The game is meant to be a challenge so do be shy of trying over and over, once you get the feel of how to control character you will succeed.

    Okay. All comments welcome
