Hi all! Setting up a fresh thread to make sure everyone knows about Playtopia; South Africa's very first homegrown indie games and interactive arts festival!
Happening over 30 Nov to 2 Dec, Playtopia will be a 3 day celebration of creativity and play, assembling an amazing collection of game developers, artists, thinkers and players from across South Africa and abroad. I'm incredibly stoked with how many excellent, local games there are on the list. Also, very excited for everyone to experience the cool new creations that will be coming in from abroad!
The crazy part is that these 43 games are just one part of the festival; there are more surprises in store! Plus, there's still all the interactive art installations, talks, workshops, music performances, and general good times spent hanging out with other game makers. Be sure to grab those delegate passes if you want to make the most of it!
