Global Game Jam 2017 Site Registration

Hi everyone,

I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the Global Game Jam but just in case:
The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development.
The next Global Game Jam will be from January 20th - January 22nd 2017 and site registration is now open. South Africa has shown great participation since the beginning of GGJ with the most frequent sites being the Cape Town and Johannesburg sites which I believe will be returning as usual. Last year we had 2 new sites from SA, in Pretoria and George. South Africa is pretty big and there are game developers all over so I'm sure there are more potential sites with members from MGSA. I'm looking into getting a site for Port Elizabeth. If you have the capacity to organise a site for your community, even if it's a small one, consider applying. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.
