OFFICE AND PROPERTY MANAGER
The position requires a person who is highly organized, and a “jack of all trades”. You would be overseeing the smooth running of the office and property from which Free Lives operates - a 7 bedroom ex-bed and breakfast where several of our team members live in, and several more work at. Responsibilities would range from hardware and software resource management, stocktake, property repairs and maintenance, shopping, managing petty cash, to supervising the house cleaning, kitchen and garden maintenance staff.
Requirements:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in office or property management.
MUST have own car and valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
Good problem solving skills.
Excellent communicator and effective, motivating supervisor.
Knowledge of IT and networking a huge plus.
Specs:
Permanent, full time position.
Salary R20 000 - R25 000 with profit share bonuses.
Start 1 April or 1 May 2018.

COMMUNITY & BRAND MANAGER
NB: THIS IS NOT A JUNIOR POSITION
We are looking for a charismatic, experienced brand ambassador to be the digital voice of Free Lives and our various games! You would work with the teams on each project to build and maintain each game’s community, as well as the brand of the Free Lives studio.
We are a highly creative, passionate studio that makes experimental, and often silly video games, that have nevertheless been surprisingly successful. We have fans in the millions, and we’re looking for someone to help us develop an ever better relationship with them.
Your responsibilities would range from all forums and social media channels, to creating content, communicating with fans on updates etc, bug reporting, footage capturing for trailers, running competitions and maintaining the Free Lives blog.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field with traceable references.
Relevant qualification/s in social media management and marketing.
Great sense of humour.
Strong creative writing skills.
Excellent communicator and able to work in teams.
Understanding of how content works on the social web, knowledge of digital trends.
Working knowledge of the following channels including Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Steam forums.
Knowledge of Photoshop, gif making and video editing tools.
Highly organized and motivated.
Knowledge of game design / the game development industry a plus.
Must love games and gaming.
