Indie Speed Run - We so Lost

The Indie Speed Run games are (finally) open for free play!

Please go check out the game @Tuism and I made, it's called We so lost.

Please feel free to post any feedback here as well. It doesn't look like there is any real comment section on the web site. Only the rating system.

Enjoy ;)

Just played - very novel concept. Though the time pressure kinda makes you not explore options, rather just pick the first how ever many options you need to progress. Perhaps a better way to do it would be:

    1 Mash you buttons
    2 Pass the required threshold
3 Generate a bunch of options all at once.

That way you get to have fun selecting your options. And maybe you could even do your selection after the time limit. Also for it to actually feel like a game, it would have been cool if you actually got to play something at the end. Even if it was a super simple platformer with interchangeable assets. But yeah 48 hours and all ;)
  • Hey! @rigormortis thanks for posting :)

And thanks @TheFuntastic for playing :)

We planned 5 or 6 different stages that were more varied, and it was supposed to be a choice game where you explored the outcomes based on what you could select... Though that your choices actually had influence on the outcome was too obscure in what we could manage!

The original idea was that you'd fail at it a couple of times, then realise that you need to work faster, then realise that you could aim for specific goals, through replay.

Why replay? There were supposed to be trophies for specific things achieved, and specific combinations that made "legends" like RTS + space = Starcraft or similar...

But we took a huge lesson out of this: DON'T OVERSCOPE XD
