Idea: additional side category at Make Games SA: Sample games

I am new here, so this may have already be "done and dusted".

How about an additional side item at the Make Games SA home page show casing products by members. There under.. All Caregories, General, Audio, Association News...Tutorials, Sample Games

This would need to be a striclty moderated "area" by senior members of Make Games SA, only allowing playable games, free to try, games made by members of this Associations and also allow inclusion of other indie South African game devs. you could argue that the Projects area is for this; but many games in the Projects area are "in development".

I think it comes down to: Who maintains it so it doesn't become outdated after the first few months.

But yes, it is really nice being able to view games like http://nzgda.com/games/ does.

I believe there currently isn't functionality to have a "strictly" moderated category, and I don't think there are any plans to create such a category, but once the static content system is done, it might be possible to have some sort of list there.

For now, just search through the projects, portfolios and competitions/jams categories for games you might be interested in :)

Just have to point out that NZGDA doesn't have Mini-Metro on that list, and Mini-Metro was released in 2014 and took IGF audio prize this year. So yeah curation...

And just to put this out there. We did have a list of games. It was on our wiki, but wait you ask we don't have a wiki. Well no one used it after the first couple of months and it got flooded with spam. #History
