I bought this domain:
http://interactive.capetown a while back and instead of just parking it I figured I would setup a site to list talks / events and things related to programming, interactive media, games and animation. I will try and update it whenever I hear of new events.

If anyone knows of anything happening in / around Cape Town let me know and I will add it.

    Can you scrape FB feeds? If so, just have it subscribe to the MGSA events and the Modern Alchemists events, should be a good place to start :)

    Had a squizz around, there are a few feed importer plugins, but nothing I'm keen to throw live onto my server just yet (using wordpress, and dodgy plugins can create a major vector for attack). I will keep it manual for the time being with the help of my team-mates at RH, but I will definitely keep an eye out for something that automates a calendar.
