Crowd participation games
So I just played this slightly NSFW crowed sourced music video/game thing, which is pretty damn rad. It made me think of a video I once saw of a crowd playing pong, by raising different colour paddles [Edit] A similar video and corresponding website. I know there was also an indie music game currently being developed in the same vein... sorry my google skills are failing I will post links when I find them.
What amazed me was the sense of connection and comradery you feel when playing a prerecorded crowd of pointers, who are all playing the fool together. This quite literally blue my tiny gamedev mind. I think it goes well with one of the recent CPT meetup talks about party type games like BaraBariBall. Thoughts?
